The RealReal presents a unique operational challenge in so far as every item in our vast inventory is one-of-a-kind. TRR tackled this single SKU inventory model with RealReal 360, an innovative commerce solution that provides a unified, real-time view of inventory, product and customer activity across all platforms, including desktop, mobile, stores and warehouse.  

Our proprietary technology powers all aspects of the company, including specialized sales tools, inventory management, and product interface technology that leverages artificial intelligence for pricing, content creation, and photo-editing. Our state-of-the-art retail software enables a true omni-channel experience across all of our customer and consignor facing endpoints from the TRR website and iOS app, to retail stores and luxury consignment offices.

Real Time Inventory Management    

A connected inventory view surfaces the full assortment of products from TRR warehouses, consignment centers and retail stores providing an accurate real time view of what is available across all channels. This  full omnichannel view of inventory unlocks all products no matter what channel our customer is shopping in. 

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) integration allows store experts to easily locate items to better service customers and enhance inventory control.  

Just as importantly, consignors to TRR can trust that we know the exact location and status of their items at any given moment from the time they arrive at an authentication center to the moment they are sold and shipped. Members are invited to check the status of their items on their My Sales page and receive alerts when their items progress from one step to the next in the acceptance process. This dynamic, real-time digital hub enables consignors to track the status of their items, so they know immediately when they have been evaluated, priced, posted for sale, and sold.

It also enables us to view sales in real time by region, channel, and customer type to better identify key customer trends and address customer needs.
